My name is Hanne Mikkelsen, I live with my family (husband and 4 kids), 2 cats and 1 dog.

I  love the Turkish van cat and I have a turtle female, called "Simme" (Gesim van Kedi von ALexis) in daily speak. She has one kitten, a boy - and I intend to keep him! Both cats have a very loving and caring temper, they are glad and happy, never aggressive!!  "Simme" is now neuthered, due to a bad experience giving birth to the one kitten.

I have stopped professionally breeding, I think there is to much trouble in the breeding world, discussions and bad feelings, trouble getting the pedigrees from one country to another, event though all are FIFE-members..etc etc...Thats not why I have the Turkish Van cat, - I love my cats, pedigrees or not - so I think it's not worth it!
